The Tsukihime anime as a standalone, without referring to the novel, is good. It's NOT comparable to the novel but it's good itself. Stop whining about your trvness.

I am thinking about making a remix with music from Crow's Claw and MintJam. They cover MB tracks at hard rock and it would be still somehow the original OST.

But I can't upload it anyway, just ISDN.

Hmm. I am currently trying to create crazy machines in Phun. It's hard. Chain reactions are simple if they are handled with blocks, but if it comes to water and/or chains, motorized spheres etc it's getting difficult.

Edit: If someone's interested, some random physics stuff.

Nice. Reminds me of Crayon Physics, where you can draw objects and they move physically correct. You can draw a car or a hammer nailed into the air so it would spin and kick objects, like spheres, away etc. But there's no water, still awesome.

I like Phun, too. It does make fun, really!

That would mean death to everyone who tries it. Spriting is serious business. It is work.

NOTICE
HAMACHI SHOULD ONLY BE USED IF NEITHER PLAYER HAS THE ABILITY TO HOST

All you need to host is an open/forwarded port 7500.
I agree, but before I reinstalled my system, I was not able to host a game. Strange thing, because I forwarded the port, even deinstalled my software firewall and deactivated/forwarded ports in the windows firewall. And still, I was not able to host.
After the system reinstall, it worked fine. It's not always the RTFM.

Jesus, I'm arguing against an admin. *runs*

Nice translation. Now, I understand the text completely. The HEAT goes for you.

I found out that a novel called "Mes dernières années" was written by Dazai Osamu, a japanese writer.

Maybe I could get the book and read through it to find the reference. Thanks again, Chun.

Quite a strange question, but watching the anime again, I screenshotted some stuff. Since TYPE MOON co-produced the anime, there must be some sense behind the text - or it's just some random quote. I took the time and typed it down so one can read it.

XXX = not readable

Tehee. I obviously had nothing better to do than recreating the Roa sprite from the scans at Akiba. Took me one hour, I think it's not bad. I hope, the actual Roa from AA looks better, because their spriting skillz rock.

Akiha's Tea Room / CARD SAGAS WARS
« on: February 13, 2008, 03:09:50 AM »
Yo. I'm starting this topic because I'm bored and saw this one the other day. There's a pretty good looking M.U.G.E.N. fan project called Card Sagas Wars. I only saw the videos and pictures, but they looked really good so far. This is a crossover-like fighting game, featuring known characters. From the videos I've seen, there is even some kind of BnB possible, this means the creators did some deeper work into this. The sprites are rather kewl, though I am not used into this card gallery style they use.

However, just wanted to throw this into the room. Have a look yourself.

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Sprites
« on: February 06, 2008, 01:50:34 AM »
Every Sprite pack has the AD, AAD and LA sprites. Just not as the whole animation itself, but the parts of it. The animation sprites of the character and the effect sprites, seperated. The game itself only combines those sprites to a large kickass animation.

Geez, I was absent a long time, too. Needed to reinstall my computer and had much trouble with my graphics card. But now I'll lurk moar in the channel.

When I played SFA3, I thought this game was very weird. It had good graphics 'n stuff, but the game itself was... stiff. I started playing fighting games like KoF and the Garou Densetsu parts, first one was Garou - Mark of the Wolves (which is my favourite SNK fighter after all, fun to play via kaillera). But SFA3... nah.

Go play Street Fighter Alpha 3
This was a joke, wasn't it?

I think KoF98 is worth a try, and of course Guilty Gear XX Acc Core.

No. The game I play most hard is my life. When I began, I couldn't stop and now I'm playing it 24/7.

Nice idea, but I simply prefer to shut the music off ingame and listen to my previously made Winamp playlist. It's not as custom as this method, but I get along with it.

Though, I will try this thing out. RAITO did some cool music for RBO, too. And I think some tracks fit Melty Blood pretty much.

Since Arly created the topic, there's no black shirt with the picture of woof. Only the logo thingie. Is this on purpose because of the motive or...?
Well, if there won't be one, I shall buy the bread logo shirt in black then. Though here doesn't know ANY person what Melty Bread is and to what its name refers.
